Treatments

Robert Brush offers the following massage therapy treatments:

Swedish Massage:

Gentle manipulation of the body tissues using five basic massage techniques.  Swedish massage allows for an increase in circulation, promotes the elimination of waste products and encourages relaxation.

Deep Tissue Massage:

Focuses on specific muscle groups and problematic areas.  Deep tissue massage may be used for specific cases of muscle injury, trauma or spasm, as well as overall relaxation and tension reduction.

Myotherapy/Neuromuscular Massage:

Used to treat and prevent further injury to muscle tissue caused by injuries such as Cervical strain (whiplash).  Lumbar strain and spasm, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and Piriformis Syndrome (sciatica).  It provides a physiological boost and enables faster recovery.

Sports Massage:

A preventative and rehabilitative therapy to reduce potential strain, spasm and discomfort to the muscles when engaging in (high-performance) activities.  Promotes faster recovery from myofacial injury and provides a psychological boost consistent with a commitment to high performance.

Pregnancy Massage:

Doctors and Gynecologists recommend massage for relief from lower back pain, hips, legs, swelling and other discomforts associated with pregnancy. Clients should consult with their physician first and be past the first trimester of pregnancy.
